VISIO DIVINA
Visio Divina is the devotional practice of gazing at a work of art and letting it become a window to our soul. Instead of looking at art with an evaluative gaze, we notice what we are drawn to and reflect on why we’ve been moved by some aspect of the art. It’s a wonderful way to draw close to the Lord. Learning to watercolor as well as reflecting on works of art or images I’ve found online has been a helpful practice especially when if I’m in a season of uncertainty.
I created a 20 minute video to lead you through the process of Visio Divina. It’s been such a wonderful way for me to connect with Jesus recently, I wanted to share it with you.
